comparisons that are viewed thousands of times a month. Membership is

How do I sell my book?
To sell your books on the GetCheapBooks.com marketplace, simply become a registered member of GetCheapBooks.com
(click here to login or become a member for FREE). When signing up, please be
sure to give your real name, address, and email (same as your Paypal account).
Once you are a member, you can post your new or used books or textbooks in just a few easy steps:
1. Enter the ISBN of the book you would like to sell
2. Rate the book's condition and assign a price
3. Confirm the book's listing information (title, ISBN, condition, and price)
Your book is then automatically entered into our inventory and will be visible
on the price comparison page for that book. When a buyer purchases your book,
you will be emailed with the details of the sale and a printable mailing label. You should then afix the
appropriate postage (media mail or priority) and ship the item. You will be reimbursed the price of shipping.
Once your item has been confirmed delivered by USPS, we will credit your Paypal account the sale price
minus a small commission. For details of our commission rates, please see our seller payment policy.
How do I buy books through the GetCheapBooks.com marketplace?
Books and textbooks available on the marketplace are listed
on the corresponding price comparison pages (as vendor "GetCheapBook Marketplace").
Therefore, you can search our site as you would for any book and once
you have found the book or textbook you are looking for,
simply click the "Buy" link.
How long does it take to ship?
You can choose whether you would like your marketplace books shipped to you via U.S. Postal Service Media Mail or Priority Mail. Both shipping services include an automatically generated delivery confirmation number. The cost of shipping, per marketplace book, is:
Media Mail: $2.45
Priority Mail: $4.99
The seller is required to ship the book to you within 1-3 days after the sale is confirmed. USPS Media Mail usually takes between 2 and 9 business days from the time of sale confirmation to delivery. USPS Priority Mail usually takes between 3 to 5 business days.
What if I don't receive the book that I purchased through the marketplace?
We use USPS to confirm that all packages get delivered to the buyer. We also make every effort to provide you with the best possible shopping experience. Therefore, if the purchase does not work out (because of incorrect item, lost item, or unacceptable condition) our return policy is designed to protect you through arbitration with the seller. In addition, since we use Paypal,
you will be covered under their buyer/seller protection policy.
What is the GetCheapBooks.com seller payment policy (commission)?
Listing on the GetCheapBooks.com marketplace is FREE. When the seller's book is sold, we will charge 10% of the listing price of the book plus $0.75. In addition, sellers will also receive a shipping credit based on the method of shipment:

How do I rate sellers?
After a buyer receives the book, we encourage the buyer to provide feedback on their experience. The seller feedback is made in the form of a 1-5 rating scale with the possibility of adding additional comments about the seller. The ratings are then aggregated together and allow future buyers to view the quality and service that each seller provides. This competitive environment, therefore, encourages sellers to improve their rating by shipping in a timely manner and accurately classifying the quality of their books.
